DAY 2 : (SATURDAY): FREE TIME AT YOUR LEISURE

DAY 3 : (SUNDAY): CAESAREA / DRUZE VILLAGES / HAIFA
This morning we will drive up the Mediterranean coast to the ancient city of Caesarea, which was the capital of Judea under the Romans. You will discover the excavations of the Crusader city and the Roman port, aqueduct and the amphitheater that has been restored to its former glory as a concert venue. Proceed to Megiddo, which has been identified as the site of Armageddon. You will visit the archaeological excavations including the well preserved water supply system. We will continue to Daliat El Carmel, a Druze village and enjoy a late lunch at a local restaurant. This afternoon we will continue to Haifa for a spectacular panoramic view of the Haifa bay and the Golden domed Bahai shrine and gardens.

DAY 4 : (MONDAY): SAFED / HAIFA / GOLAN HEIGHTS
This morning we will visit the mystical city of Safed, where you will visit the ancient synagogues and the artists’ colony. Continue to the Golan Heights to see the former Syrian bunkers, Kuneitra and the new Israeli town of Katzrin. We will have the opportunity to visit a boutique winery in the Golan heights for a tour and wine tasting. Finally we will visit “Kessem Hagolan”, a multimedia presentation of the area and it’s history.

DAY 5 : (TUESDAY): SEA OF GALILEE / NAZARETH / JERUSALEM
Today, we will begin with a visit to the city of Nazareth and visit the church of Annunciation. We will continue to Tiberias and later Capernaum to see the ruins of the synagogue and octagonal church of St. Peter. We will visit Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered the sermon on the mount. Drive via Beit Shean to Beit Alpha to see the remains of the mosaic floor of an ancient synagogue depicting the zodiac.

DAY 6 : (WEDNESDAY): THE OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM / BETHLEHEM
We will start the day with a magnificent panoramic view from Mount of Olives. We will continue to Old city of Jerusalem and visit the tomb of King David and the room of last Supper on Mt. Zion. Enter the walled city and walk through the newly restored Jewish quarter. Visit the Roman Cardo, the Herodian quarter and continue to the Western Wall. Walk along the Via Dolorosa to the church of the Holy Sepulcher. This afternoon, we will visit the city of Bethlehem; view Rachel’s tomb and proceed to visit the Church of Nativity and manger’s square.

DAY 7 : (THURSDAY): THE NEW CITY OF JERUSALEM
This morning we will visit the Israel museum and have to explore the the Shrine of the book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed and the miniature model of Jerusalem as it was during the second temple period. Proceed for a tour at the Knesset, Israel’s parliament. Continue to visit Mount Herzl Military cemetery and Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum. This afternoon we will visit Mea Shearim , the ultra orthodox neighborhood in Jerusalem and learn about their unique lifestyle. In the evening enjoy a middle eastern dinner followed by the spectacular sound & light show at the Tower of David museum. (weather conditions permitting).

DAY 8 : (FRIDAY): QUMRAN / MASSADA / DEAD SEA
This morning we will drive through the Judean Desert to the Dead Sea; which is the lowest point on earth, almost 1300 feet (400 meters) below sea level. We will visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Masada. Ascend by cable car and we will tour the ancient fortress where the Zealots made their last stand against the Romans before committing mass suicide in 73 AD. Descend by cable car. Finally some time for R&R as we continue to the Dead Sea; Cover yourself with the mineral rich mud and experience a swim in the Dead Sea* that many believe has its therapeutic effects (*weather permitting).

DAY 9 : (SATURDAY): FREE TIME AT YOUR LEISURE

DAY 10 : (SUNDAY): TIMNA / UNDERWATER OBSERVATORY / EILAT
This morning, we will travel south via the Negev desert and visit Timna Park. We will have the opportunity to see the copper mines and King Solomon’s pillars and marvel at the huge multi-colored rock formations. Continue to the most southern city in Israel Eilat. We will visit the underwater observatory, one of the largest sea aquariums in the world, which is built into a coral reef. Continue to your hotel check in.

DAY 11 : (MONDAY): DAY OF LEISURE IN EILAT OR OPTIONAL TOUR DAY IN PETRA
This morning you can enjoy a day of leisure in Eilat or visit Petra for the day!
We will drive to the Arava border to begin your adventure in Petra! We can assist you with you Jordanian visa at the border. You will continue to Petra through desert highways, your ultimate destination is the astonishing rose-red city of Petra which was built by the Nabateans (An early Arab tribe). Petra was renowned for its massive architecture, pools, dams and water channels. Petra is the legacy of the Nabateans who settled in the south of Jordan more than 2000 years ago. The visit begins with the possibility of a short horseback-riding for about 700 m. until the entrance of the Siq, which is about 1.2 km long (walking distance). There is a possibility to rent a chariot (for an extra fee) to get inside Petra and back to the gate outside. Petra is famous for its huge monuments such as the Treasury, Royal Tombs, the Court, Roman theatre, Roman Street, Qassier El- Bint (Palace of Pharaoh’s daughter) and many other smaller monuments which fascinate the visitors. The city itself is almost 45 square km and is considered to be the seven wonders of the world. Have a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. On the way, to the border you can have a short visit to Aqaba, time permitted. Transfer to the border at around 6:00 PM continue to your hotel in Eilat.

DAY 12 : (TUESDAY): MITZPE RAMON / SDE BOKER / TEL-AVIV
We will depart the city of Eilat via Mitzpe Ramon. Youi will see the geological wonderment of the Ramon crater. Continue to Sde Boker and see Ben Gurion’s hut and grave overlooking the magnificent Zin valley. Stop for a camel riding experience and a visit to an authentic Bedouin tent; learn about the Bedouin hospitality and enjoy a light lunch. Continue to Hatzerim and visit Israel’s airforce museum to view the planes and equipment and to hear the story of this brave fighting force.
Continue to Tel Aviv to check in to your hotel.

DAY 13 : (WEDNESDAY): DEPARTURE
